From Rockets to Digital Puppets to talking Planes

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an Aerospace Engineering degree.  My professional career started at TRW Space Systems where I analyzed missile flight dynamics and satellite engagement scenarios.  This is where I began to study computer graphics.  I started utilizing these amazing 3d programs in order to better visualize flight and simulation data.  As my passion for computer graphics grew, I transitioned to the entertainment industry where I became an expert at building production pipelines, rigging characters, creating hair and cloth simulations and generating any technical animation required for fixing/completing shots.  This portion of my career has taken me to DisneyToon Studios, The Jim Henson Company and the Marvel universe where I have helped to bring Planes, Tinker Bell, Sid the Science Kid and Hulk to the screen.

I am currently living in North Carolina and bringing my passion and love of cg to other industries; freelance, part time, contract, as well as full time considered.
